Sulphur Springs’ fireworks show is this weekend! July 2 starting at 8 p.m. on the plaza– a special 30th anniversary from the North East Texas Symphony Orchestra you won’t want to miss!

Important Parking Information from Sulphur Springs Police Department:

Due to the safety zone needed for the fireworks display some parking areas around the plaza will be closed. This will include the new parking lot on the corner of Jefferson Street at Rosemont Street.

Attached is a diagram showing the safety zone shaded in red and arrows indicating roadways that will be closed.

Pedestrian traffic will be allowed in the shaded area till around 9 p.m. and then will be closed prior to the fireworks display. Due to the roadways that will be closed we ask that you plan accordingly.

If you can’t make Sulphur Springs or would like a show on the fourth, here are some other area celebrations:
 
  • 7/1 Fireworks in the Park, Quinlan Community Park, Quinlan TX @ 6 p.m.
  • 7/1 Red, White and Boom, Hooten Memorial Castle, Caddo Mills, TX @ 6 p.m.
  • 7/2 Sulphur Springs fireworks on the square, downtown square Sulphur Springs, TX @ 8 p.m.
  • 7/2 West Tawakoni City Park Fireworks on the Lake @ 3 p.m.
  • 7/4- Fireworks at the Castle 373 FM 1564 E, Greenville TX @ 5:30 p.m.
  • 7/4 Franklin County VFW all day celebration. Cornhole, horseshoes, bounce house, fireworks, burges, waterslide. 5576 FM 3122 Mt. Vernon, TX @ noon
  • 7/4 Poppers in the Park in Emory starting @ 6 p.m.
