Journey Road Ministries Golf Scramble

On Monday, Journey Road Ministries held a golf scramble at the Sulphur Springs Country Club and it was a smashing success! Tonya Bradford of Janet Martin Realty contributed with a Gold Sponsorship for her rock-steady golf team.
Along with other sponsors, their contributions will assist Journey Road Ministries in their work to strengthen foster families and provide a wholesome, fun place for children in the foster care system. We’re super glad to have team members and locals who pour back into our community!
Thanks to Tonya’s golf team! Leading the way was Jonathan McGraw, Associate Pastor at Shannon Oaks Church, with a few special “Caddies”. His golf buddies definitely brought the cuteness factor to the greens.
Also, a big shout out to Embroidery Designs in Sulphur Springs for doing the intricate logo and design for all the shirts for Tonya’s team members. And on top of that, they cranked the shirts out in 2 days!

“Journey Road is a new non-profit organization that hopes to strengthen foster families in their ministry to foster children. At our farm we have a facility that will provide a place to run, play, fish, learn, ride horses, and all kinds of other outdoor activities. We will provide a context for foster families to get much of the help they need as they give themselves to supporting the children that have been placed in their home. Beyond this, we hope that one day we will be a place where parents can learn life and parenting skills.”
