Backstory Brewery to host 4th annual BBQ contest
Backstory Brewery is back again in 2022 with its fourth annual BBQ contest.
The contest will take place June 25 starting at 11 a.m.
The competition has three categories: brisket, ribs, and chicken. Brisket is the grand prize winner, and cash prizes will be awarded. Congressional District 04’s Pat Fallon will serve as a celebrity guest judge.
The event will also feature music by local Nirvana tribute band Nevermind.
“If you back-yard-cook, gill, smoke or just want to have fun, this is the event in East Texas Event to go to,” the brewery noted.
Entry is $10 for all-you-can-eat BBQ.
