Memorial service for JoBeth Braden “Granny” Stewart, age 82 of Como, TX will be held at a later date. Mrs. Stewart passed away on June 13, 2022 at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.

JoBeth was born on August 24, 1939 in Pickton, TX, to George and Ethel Stewart (Braden). She married Jerry Stewart on September 12, 1976. JoBeth worked as a bookkeeper for the TDJC in Winnsboro. She loved to quilt, especially with her friend Robin. JoBeth, whose love and hugs, thoughtfulness and wisdom, guided and changed lives. She would always sing happy birthday to her children and grandchildren in her best Marilynn Monroe voice. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Como.

She is survived by her sons, Alva Lytle; Robert Stewart and wife, Pinky; daughters, Kimberly Roger and husband, Bobby; Stephanie Nail and husband, Rusty; Vicky Price and husband, Rick; grandchildren, Jesse Lytle, Ashton Lytle, Peyton Lytle, Amy Nichols, Nathan Roger, Stacy McCormick, Julie Redman, Joshua Brown, Matthew Brown, Shawn Stewart, Kristine Maire Stewart, and Shawn Price; twenty-one great grandchildren and one brother, Eugene Braden.

JoBeth was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Stewart; parents, George Braden and Ethel Stewart, and brother Thomas Braden.

Memorials may be made to St Judes Childrens Hospital.
