NOTE: Meal A Day is in need of volunteers.
“If anyone is looking for a place to volunteer in your community I wish you would consider helping with the cooking at Meal A Day,” said senior center director Karon Weatherman. “We are so short handed right now.”
Volunteers are needed every day of the week, Weatherman said.
Cooks start at 7:00 a.m. and finish at 10:30 a.m.
“You don’t have to be a professional cook,” Weatherman said. “We just need help getting the meals out every day to feed the Senior Citizens in our Community.”
