Funeral service for Thomas Hugh Gulledge, age 75, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at West Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Rev. Fred Randles officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Academy Cemetery with James Taylor, Philip Hoffman, Bryan Cooey, Thomas Gulledge, Ryan Cooey, and Nolan Cooey serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Mack Gillem and Ronny Randolph. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at West Oaks Funeral Home. Thomas passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He was born on November 1, 1946, in Sulphur Springs, TX, the son of Truman Gulledge and Vivian Scott Gulledge. He married Carolyn Hoffman on February 18, 1966, in Sulphur Springs. She preceded him in death on July 14, 2010. Thomas served in the National Guard and worked as an electrician. He loved fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by son, Thomas Lynn Gulledge and wife Amy of Lolita, TX, daughters, Carla K. Taylor and husband James of Greenville, Shanna Cooey and husband Bryan of Sulphur Springs, sister, Jane Newkirk of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Ashley Taylor, Ryan Cooey, Nolan Cooey, Raven Davis, Thomas Wesley Gulledge, and great-grandchildren, Adriana Taylor, Addison Cooey, Reed Cooey, and Juno Davis. In addition to his wife, Thomas was also preceded in death by his parents, and great-granddaughter, Jaylee Sue Cooey.

Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
