She’s a lightening bolt of energy who carries a continual spark of stamina, strength of mind, and activity. With a rambunctious toddler in tow, Kati Adair relishes motherhood and being a wife. Equally to that, she is committed to her work as an East Texas reatlor. Stating, “My friends often joke about me working all the time or ‘never stopping’. Most days, I really don’t notice it. I love working hard and giving people my best.”

You may know her from Mother’s Culture Club which invests thousands of dollars into the Hopkins County community. Or you may know her as a former teacher at a local school or from co-directing the Turkey Trot. But the folks at Janet Martin Realty know her as a fiery and passionate real estate agent who sticks by her clients, stands up for what is best for them, and is persistent in getting the job done. Kati Adair’s exuberant personality fills a room. With her can-do attitude, she has stayed on top as a multi-million dollar producer for the last two years.

Even though she was born in Winnsboro, Kati has spent most of her life in Hopkins County. From 2nd to 8th grade, she attended Como-Pickton schools. But later her family relocated to Sulphur Springs where she would attend high school. After graduating, Kati attended Texas A&M Commerce where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership.

During high school, Kati met Zach. He carries himself as a polite and reserved man who would literally, walk through fire for you. Kati admires his work as both a firefighter and paramedic in the Garland area. They were married in 2011 and have since built a family with their two-year old son on a quiet street in the Green Acres Subdivision. One of their favorite parts of the community is how people celebrate one another’s victories or always find ways to console each other. “It’s something special we have that many other towns don’t have,” Kati says.

On any given day, Kati can be found in a variety of settings, from making numerous calls at the office and showing houses to her clients. She also enjoys gathering with friends to play games or chasing her son at Imagination Mountain and walking around Coleman Lake. As an east texas realtor, she enjoys something special more than anything. “I love running into my clients or friends when out to dinner or anywhere in town. There is a true community spirit here,” Kati reflects. She also enjoys attending concerts. Recently, her and Zach went to a George Strait concert in Little Rock.

Regardless of where you find her, Kati’s goal-setting ways help her stay on task as she throws herself into every relationship, project and real estate transaction. “I chose real estate because I love to work hard and help people. I get to educate and assist people during a very important part of their life,” she says.

Kati realizes that purchasing or selling a home, ranch, investment property, or land is a big financial decision with real benefits and consequences. Since 2018, when she first started with Janet Martin Realty, she continuously strives to make those transitions as smooth as possible for her clients. “I’ve learned so much from Janet Martin. She is a hands-on Broker. Not many brokers are in the office daily or answer their phone any time of the day. I accredit a large part of my success to Janet and her consistent advice,” states Kati. In the process, Kati builds relationships alongside families and becomes invested in their stories. She never tires of hearing about “this used to be here” or “my Daddy built his house there.”

At the end of the day, cuddling up with her son and hubby, Kati wants to know that she went the extra mile to treat her clients with fairness and honesty. Which is something she continues to strive for today and for the years ahead.
