A Celebration of Life for Darren Smith, age 55, will be held at a later date. Mr. Smith passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at his home in Sulphur Springs, TX.
He was born the son of James Smith and Wanda Dodd Smith in Greenville, TX on May 27, 1966. Darren worked as a forklift operator for a feed company before he retired. He loved singing karaoke, cooking for his friends and watching his favorite team, The Cowboys.
Survivors include: sisters: Shannon Hanna and Seleatha Houston and husband Keith; nieces: Julie Hanna, Micaela Houston, Hollie Houston, Courtney Hill and Stephanie Houston; great niece: Alita Houston.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Wanda Smith.
