The Miller Grove Hornets hosted Fruitvale Tuesday, looking to stay undefeated on the season. The Hornets have gotten off to a good start, winning each of their first four games of the season.
Jagger Qualls was the starting pitcher for Miller Grove, and wasted no time finding a rhythm, striking out the side in order in the top of the first. Qualls also started a rally for Miller Grove in the bottom of the frame, hitting a two-out double which led to a pair of runs in the inning.
Qualls kept his hot start going in the top of the second, once again racking up three strikeouts in the frame. The Hornets offense kept things going in the bottom of the frame, adding another pair of runs to make it a 4-0 game.
