Donald Sparks of Cumby, Texas has passed away on Wednesday February 23rd 2022, at the age of 82. No formal services are planned.
Donald Ray Sparks was born on September 9, 1939, to Charley Allen and Velma (Barnett) Sparks in the county of Rains, Texas. In his life he came to own his own sawmill, and became a skilled furniture builder. He also worked as a Handyman for various businesses. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his sons, Clayton Sparks and Kendall Sparks; two grandchildren; sisters Bethena Lee Barett and Uleta Taylor; brother William Sparks and many nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Cypress Basin Hospice on the wonderful care given to Donald and his family.
