School delays and closures 2/23-2/24

SSISD– School will close at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with buses running 1.5 hours earlier than normal. All after-school activities are cancelled and classes will have a delayed start at 10 a.m. Thursday

COMO-PICKTON– As a result of deteriorating road conditions, CPCISD releasing school at 1:15 Wednesday, just after lunches end. Because of anticipated rain and freezing temperatures tonight, CPCISD will take precautions of closing tomorrow as well. CPCISD has enough time built into the calendar that these will not need to be made-up.

NORTH HOPKINS– Due to incoming weather, NHISD will be releasing early on Wednesday. Parent pick-up at 12:45 p.m. Buses will run at 1:15 p.m. HS student drivers may be released as soon as parents would like if you will call and sign them out in the HS office.

SULPHUR BLUFF- Early release Wednesday at 2:00 to stay ahead of the winter weather advisory. Car riders can start picking students up at 1:50. No afternoon practice for students. Thursday morning will be a delayed start. Classes will start at 10:00, and buses will be 2 hours later than the normal start time.

SALTILLO- Saltillo ISD will release buses 1:30 p.m. and car riders at 2:00 p.m on Wednesday. SISD  will monitor the weather and make a decision concerning Thursday.

MILLER GROVE– Miller Grove ISD will release students early at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. They will continue to monitor the weather and make a decision concerning tomorrow (Thursday).

CUMBY “Keeping the safety of our students, families, and staff members in mind, Cumby ISD will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Students can be picked up prior, at parent discretion. School will be closed Thursday, Feb. 24. All practices are cancelled.”
