Celebration of life memorial for Gay Nell Walls, age 92 of Miller Grove, TX will be held at a later date by Ron Davis, pastor of Miller Grove Baptist Church.
Gay Nell was born on February 14, 1929 in Miller Grove, TX to Claudie D. and Ola Bell (Kinser) Luther. She graduated Miller Grove Highschool in 1946 and she married Willie Walls in 1965. She loved living life to the fullest, traveling and dining, always on the go. Her life was an adventure. She was a trick rider and barrel racer in the rodeo, she worked as a nurse (even delivered her future son in law), worked in real estate, owned Gay’s Steakhouse, and Southwest Style store in Greenville, Tx. She was involved in the community as a Miller Grove water board member and served as secretary and treasurer of Miller Grove Baptist Church. She passed peacefully in her sleep on February 3, 2022, as a legend to many and loved by all.

She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Jones and husband, Don, Debra Fawn Hoff and husband, Billy Jr.; sons, William Michael McCutchen and wife, Dianne and Raymond Kent McCutchen and wife, Diane; step-daughters, Sharion Scott and husband, James and Dollie Juri Bradley and husband, James Jr.; grandchildren, Heath Darrow, Natalie Darrow, Michelle Mayhew, Christie Chance, Andy McCutchen, Lori Shaw, Karen Leos, Shannon Garrison, Chris Jones, Kourtney Smith, Cody Walls, Heather Hoff and Phillip Lee Hoff; great Grandchildren, Heather Stuckey, Clint Stuckey, Jessy Darrow, Kylie Darrow, Justin Jones, Audrey Palin, Zoe Garrison, Owen Chance, Abigail Chance, Wyatt Mayhew, Even Mayhew, Carter McCutchen, Evelynn McCutchen, Morris McCutchen, Magan Shaw, Katie Shaw, Caroline Leos, Conner Leos, and Colton Lee Hoff; great-great grandchildren, Amelia Stuckey
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and step-son, Anthony Harris Walls.
