Students from across Hopkins County had a successful showing this weekend at the 35th annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. Here are some of the awards (note: results are still incoming and information will be updated as available).

MILLER GROVE

  • Dairy judging team– 5th overall
  • Braden Lennon– 2nd in dairy judging, caught a calf in the calf scramble
  • Ag mechanics team– blue ribbon for “cattle gate”
  • Katie Alexander– 1st-5th of classes showed, Reserve Champion Bull Calf (Braunvieh)
  • Clayton Tackel- Aluminum display
  • Parker Dyer, Riley Hasten, Kagan Scott and Adriana Ruiz– Green trailer
  • Braxton Northcutt, Alessandro Alvarez, Beaux Ruff and Cage Hasten– Blue trailer
