Funeral service for Royce A.J. Campbell, age 74 of Yantis, TX will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday January 15, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro Johnny Smith officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00P.M. at Thompson Cemetery at 700 S. State Highway 78 Nevada, TX 75173. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Campbell passed away on January 13, 2022 at Carriage House Manor.
Royce was born on March 13, 1947 in Cooper, TX to Homer Mack and Ora Lee (Canaday) Campbell. He married Betty Jean Perry on September 13, 1988 in Dallas, TX. Royce worked as a carpenter. He was a Christian.
He is survived by his sons, Royce Campbell and wife, Karen and Johnny McCarter and wife Karen; daughters, Penny Alkire and husband David, Stacey Byers and husband, Jimmie and Lisa Bier and husband, Carlton; sister, Emma Williams and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Royce was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; son, Samuel McCarter; five brothers and two sisters.
