Obituary For Ava “Maxine” Cannon

Maxine Cannon was born on February 23, 1937, in Almeria, Nebraska to Ralph Clements and Corinne Dunbar. She died on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in Emory.

Maxine married Paul Cannon in July 1979 in Loveland, Colorado.  She saw the positive in everyone and would love you like she was your own mother.  Maxine was a member of the House of Prayer as well as Campers for Christ.

She is survived by her sons, Leslie McAlevy, David Cannon and wife Tanya, and William Cannon and wife Robin; daughter, Hazel Boso and husband Alan; Step-daughter Gloria Parker and husband Pete, brother, Darrell Clements; sisters, Nelva Howard, Janice Bilstein and husband Dale; Sister-in-law Ann Cannon and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Maxine is preceded in death by her parents; husband; children, Irene McAlevy, Cynthia Rogers, David McAlevy, Sylvia Cannon and Stephen Cannon; sister, Alice; sons-in-law, Fred Jenson and Jim Rogers; daughter-in-law Anita McAlevy.
