The No. 16 ranked Sulphur Springs Wildcats return to action this week in the Allen Tournament, after picking up a 75-48 win over Marshall in their district opener. Their first game is scheduled for Monday at 6:30 p.m. against a 15-2 Lake Travis team.

The Wildcats bounce back with a pair of games Tuesday, against Rowlett at 2 p.m. and against Frisco Memorial at 6:30 p.m. They also have at least one scheduled game Wednesday at noon against Mesquite Horn.

With a record of 15-5 heading into the tournament, this could be the Wildcats final chance to fine tune things before returning to district play once they return. Their first game back will be on the road against Longview Pine Tree, Tuesday Jan. 4, before returning home Tuesday, Jan. 11 to host Hallsville.
