Obituary For Allene McKeown
Graveside service for Allene McKeown, age 97 of Canton, Tx will be held at 1:00P.M. on Thrusday, December 16, 2021 at Roselawn Cemetery in Mineola, TX. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. McKeown passed away on December 13, 2021 at Country Place Assisted Livings.
Allene was born on October 31, 1924 in Meadow, TX to Thomas Edwin and Jewel (Hines) Finley. She married J.D. McKeown. Allene had her master’s degree. She worked as a bookkeeper and a teacher.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Lou McKeown Schafer; grandson, Daniel Schafer; brother and sister-in-law, James Edwin Finely and Eva McCright Finley; niece, Rhena Finely and husband, Jeff Lang; niece’s sons, Todd Lang, Andy Lang and wife, Anne with children, Margaret and Jamie Lang.
Allene was preceded in death by her husband, J D; parents and nephew, Randal Finley.
