Obituary For Doyal Franklin

Doyal Ray Franklin was born November 7th, 1935, to Clyde and Maudie Franklin in the Smyrna Community in Emory Texas.  He graduated from Emory School.  He served in the U.S. Army for 4 years.  He went home to be with the Lord on December 8th, 2021, at the age of 86.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great pawpaw, and brother.  He loved spending time with his family and great-grandchildren.  They always made him smile….

Doyal married Linda Jacks on November 26th, 1958.  They had two daughters Pamela Franklin Campbell, Sandra Franklin Hall.  He is survived by his wife Linda of Point and daughters Pamela Campbell & Husband Richard Campbell of Point, TX., Sandra Hall & Husband Donald Hall, of Waxahachie TX., Two Grandchildren, grandson Andrew Perry & wife Lauren Perry and granddaughter Amanda Campbell.  Four Great-Grand Children Wyatt & Parker Campbell and Jordan & Brooke Perry.  One brother Louie Don Franklin, and a lot of friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one niece.  He was a faithful member of Pilgrims Rest #1 Baptist Church for many years.  He enjoyed working at Good Samaritan with his church and fishing on occasion.

He will be greatly missed.  His favorite bible verse is John 3:16.
