The Sulphur Springs ISD bands, jazz band, advanced theater and choirs have a full set of Christmas exhibitions scheduled for those who love to jingle bell rock. All events are at their respective schools unless otherwise noted. Performance dates are as follows:

Choir

  • Saturday, December 4: Heritage Park, 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 7– Middle and high school choirs at SSHS Auditorium, 6. p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 7– Travis Primary Christmas Program, 6 p.m. 
  • Wednesday, December 8– Bowie Primary Choir Tour, All Day, Around Town Locations
  • Monday, December 13– Bowie Primary 2nd Grade Program, 6:30 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, December 14
    • Barbara Bush Primary Christmas Program, 1:45 p.m. AND 6:30 p.m.
    • SSES Choir Tour, All Day, Around Town Locations
  • Wednesday, December 15– Caroling at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital (not open to the public)
  • Thursday, December 16– Rowena Johnson Primary Christmas Program, 1 p.m. AND 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday, December 17– Rowena Johnson Sing-a-Long, 8:30 a.m., 9:15 a.m., and 10 a.m.

Band

  • Thursday, December 9– All band students grades 6th-12th at SSHS Auditorium, 6 p.m.

Advanced Theater

  • Saturday, December 11– “The Most Amazing Christmas Play,” SSHS Auditorium, 7 p.m.

Strings Ensemble

  • Tuesday, December 14- Middle and high school strings ensemble, SSHS Auditorium, 6 p.m.

Jazz Band

  • Saturday, December 4: Heritage Park, 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 7: Alliance Bank, 11 a.m.
  • Tuesday, December 7: Region 8 School Board Dinner (not open to the public)
  • Wednesday, December 8: Central Baptist Church 10am (not open to the public)
  • Thursday, December 9: SSES 11 a.m. (not open to the public)
  • Thursday, December 9: Band Christmas Concert, SSHS Auditorium, 6 p.m.
  • Monday, December 13: SSES Concert, 1 p.m.
