The Golden Agers Gift Tree is up at the Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens Center, according to director Karon Weatherman.

Every year, homebound seniors are asked to make a wish for a gift they would like. Their wishes are written down on a piece of paper and hung on a Christmas tree at the senior center.

Citizens choose a request from the tree and pick out that gift for the senior.

“If you would like to adopt a Senior Citizen for Christmas please come and pick one out,” Weatherman said.

All gifts must be wrapped and back at the Senior Citizen Center between December 6 and December 17 for distribution by Christmastime.

For more information, visit the senior center at 150 Martin Luther King Junior Drive or call 903-885-1661.
