The Hopkins County Marine Corps League Detachment 1357 and the Hopkins County Military Coalition presented a program for Veterans Day at 11:11 a.m. on the Downtown Square on Nov. 11, 2021.

It included a 21-gun salute and a reading of the presidential proclamation by Marine Corp League Judge Advocate Robert L. Kerr. County Judge Robert Newsom gave the invocation, and Ridley Briggs gave a speech on the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance.

An earlier version of this report did not contain all names of those in the program. It has been amended to include all names.
