Hornets Cross Country team visits studio to talk State championship

The Miller Grove Hornets cross country team visited the Chad’s Media studio Wednesday to discuss their recent state championship. The Hornets were not only able to win the state meet, but they did so for the fifth consecutive year. The championship also makes their sixth state title in the last seven years.

The interview opened with coach Cody Walker discussing some of the challenges the team faced this season. We also talked to runners Lance Davis and Tanner Hensley, who each finished in the top-10 at the state meet. Both Davis and Hensley have been on the team for each of the last four years, winning the state title each year.
