Riders Up! at Lake Fork Stables will be hosting it’s 2nd Annual Farm Fall Festival on Saturday, October 30th. The gates open to the public at 10:30 am and the event will end at 6pm.

The 2nd Annual Farm Fall Festival will be bigger and better than last year with an added main event stage including a Pie Baking Contest, Halloween Costume Contest and Hot Dog Eating Contest. Mr. Bubbles – The Painting Pony will be doing two painting demonstrations and the event will end with a shower of candy!

A free hayride will transport guests from the parking lot at Stable View Cottages to the barn area where all of the fun happens.The festival will have free balloon animals, eight carnival games including old favorites like the duck game and ring toss, as well as fishing, cornhole, archery, the bucket game, horseshoes and a dunk tank. Guests will earn tickets that can be redeemed at our fully stocked prize booth.

Guests will also enjoy horse rides, a petting zoo, and selfies with our unicorn and other horses. The “C” Dale Cummings will be providing live music from 11:30am to 1:30pm. For food, visitors will enjoy giant smoked turkey legs, corn dogs, and funnel cakes as well as a variety of pies.

Three raffles will be offered for a Ring Doorbell, electric guitar and leaf blower. Door prizes will be awarded randomly throughout the event.

The Farm Fall Festival is the major fundraising event of the year for Riders Up! At Lake Fork Stables. The program provides underprivileged, autisti, military and foster kids in the Wood, Rains, and Hopkins County area with free and reduced rate riding lessons and equine therapy. Proceeds from the event support the nine therapy horses that call Lake Fork Stables home as well as provide services for children in the community.
