Fall Festival 2021 kicks off with parade October 16

Hopkins’ beloved Fall Festival kicks off this weekend with the Fall Festival Parade, sponsored by Chad’s Media.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. on October 16. The parade will take the ‘normal route’, beginning at Buford Park and heading down Connally Street before winding to Gilmer Street. 

Participants showing fall-themed and spooky floats include:

  • Sulphur Springs Dodge
  • North Texas Jeep Club
  • Hopkins County Volunteer Fire Stations
  • Hopkins County First Responders
  • Local charitable organizations
  • Chad’s Media

The parade is free for all ages. 

For those would like to drive in the parade, lineup is 9 a.m.- 10 a.m. at Buford Park.
