Starting in October, the Area Agency on Aging will be offering free Tai Ji Quan classes, also known as Tai Chi, at the Sulphur Springs Senior Activity Center.

Classes begin October 4 and run every Monday and Thursday from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Participants are welcome to join at any time.

“This program is based on the ancient Chinese martial art that consists of fluid gentle movements which are practiced in a relaxed and slow pace,” the Area Agency on Aging noted. “Tai Ji Quan can help you increase and maintain your strength, flexibility and balance.”
