Hopkins County’s AgriLife Extension Office only has three remaining spaces in the Cooking Well with Diabetes Series, and encourages those who have the condition or have a loved one who suffers to consider taking the class.
Topics of the four-class series include:
- Planning meals
- Reducing fats in recipes
- Recognizing carbs
- Celebrating the holidays
And more. The basic nutritional information presented in the series will help plan and prepare meals for those with diabetes, and includes 25+ recipes. Dates of the classes are:
- Monday, Oct. 4- 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 7- 6 p.m.
- Monday, Oct. 11- 6 p.m.
- Thursday, Oct. 14- 6 p.m.
