According to a release from Cumby school, all class and extra curricular activity is canceled this week.

“Due to an increase in COVID cases and other illnesses, we will be closing and suspending all extracurricular activities,” a release from superintendent Shelly Slaughter said.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Extracurricular activities are pending until further notice.

The school said they will be taking this time to clean and sanitize facilities, and ask that parents and guardians keep students “socially distanced from others and out of group situations.”
