Saltillo JH baseball gains decisive victory over Sulphur Bluff

Saltillo junior high baseball achieved a decisive victory over Sulphur Bluff with an 8-2 finish.
In the first inning, the teams were tied with two runs apiece. However, Sulphur Bluff was unable to maintain the momentum, and failed to score any further runs throughout the game.
Saltillo, however, picked up another two runs in the second inning. Although they didn’t garner any runs in the third, by the fourth they doubled their runs, adding another four.
Saltillo plays next on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. against North Hopkins. Sulphur Bluff plays next on Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. versus Miller Grove.
