Sheriff’s Office searches for suspect in Hopkins County attempted child abduction
On August 30, 2021 Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an attempted abduction of a juvenile on Hopkins County Road 4586, according to a press release from HCSO.
The suspect vehicle has been described as a black two door passenger car, possibly a Honda Civic, HCSO said. Further, the suspect was described as being in their 30s or 40s, bald, and wearing a blue short sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
Deputies are actively searching the area, and other law enforcement agencies have been notified, HCSO said.
All law enforcement agencies are checking their records for similar incidents.
