A regular meeting of the Sulphur Springs ISD school board was held on Fri., August 27, 2021 at noon.
PUBLIC FORUM
No one requested to address the Board during the Public Forum portion of the meeting.
A public hearing was held on the Sulphur Springs ISD’s 2021 proposed tax rate. No one was present from the public to participate.
ACTION ITEMS
The following were approved:
Budget amendments for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2021.
General Fund, Debt Service, and Food Service budgets for the Sulphur Springs ISD for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2022.
Ordinance 2-21 levying an annual ad valorem tax for $1.18248, per $100 cash valuation – $0.31048 Interest & Sinking and $0.8720 Maintenance & Operations – for the Sulphur Springs ISD for the year 2021.
2021-2022 Board Operating Procedures Manual.
Construction Manager Agent as the delivery method for SSISD Facilities Study and potential future projects.
Hiring Gallagher Construction Services as the Construction Manager Agent for SSISD Facilities Study and potential future projects.
Contract with WRA Architects for SSISD Facilities Study and potential future projects.
