Graveside service for Cecilia Annette (O’Dell) Beck, age 86, of Flint, TX will be held at 10:00 A.M. on

Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Pleasant Grove – North Cemetery with Rev. Mark Beck officiating and

Malachi Tolliver, Brandon Beck, Steven Williams, Colton McDugle, Nicholas Bruner and Daniel Deslatte

serving as pallbearers with Trey Moses and Michael Beck serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be

from 6 to8 P.M. on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Beck passed away

peacefully after a lengthy illness on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Reunion Plaza Healthcare and Rehab in

Tyler, TX surrounded by her family.

 

Cecilia Annette was born on July 11, 1935 in Avinger, Texas to Manning “Sarge” and Annie (Cloninger)

O’Dell. She married Wayland Wayne Beck in Hughes Springs, Texas on March 29, 1957. Cecilia was a

homemaker and a member of Bethesda Church of Lindale, TX. She loved the Lord and loved to sing the

old hymns.

 

She is survived by her children, Michael de Wayne Beck and wife, Beth McDonald Beck of Houston, TX,

Mark Daniel Beck and wife, Robin Beck of Tyler, Melissa Nanette Beck Holloway and husband, Billy

Holloway Jr. of Flint, TX and David Lynn Beck of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Brandon Beck, Rachel

Beck, Michael Beck, Kaela Deslatte, Krista Rhodes, Heather Tolliver, Steven Williams, Colton McDugle,

Zoe Beck, Vivienne Beck, Claire Burke, TJ Burke, Billy Joe Holloway, Chad Holloway, Lauren Gutierrez,

BJ Sparks, Shannon Stillwell, Shawna Brown, Taylor Guyton; great grandchildren, Summer Bruner,

Nicholas Bruner, Brinlee Beck, Bryker Beck, Malachi Tolliver, Emma Deslatte, Anna Claire Deslatte,

Ruth Bates, Jersi Rhodes, Rowan Gutierrez, Victoria Holloway, Brooke Holloway, Kaylynn Holloway.

 

Cecilia was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Conrad O’Dell and husband, Wayland Wayne

Beck.

 

Arrangements under the direction of Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
