Obituary for Lloyd Gaby
March 19, 1931 ~ August 15, 2021 (age 90)
Funeral services for Lloyd “Boy” Gaby, age 90, of Emory, will be held on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Jonathan Criswell and John Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at City of Emory Cemetery. Visitation will be held one-hour prior at the funeral home.
Lloyd Gaby was born March 19, 1931 to Thomas Gaby and Georgia Ruth Jones in Emory, Texas. He married Ruby Jo Adair on May 31, 1952, they cherished 69 years together. He passed at his home, surrounded by his family, on August 15, 2021. He was in the US Air Force for 25 years and the post office for 20+ years.
He is survived by his wife “Mickey”; sons, Stephen, Mark, Doug and wife Cindy, Jerry and wife Traci; grandchildren, Joshua and wife Alexa, Mathew, Andrew and wife Carlie; David and wife Brandi, Kevin and wife Rikki, Micah, Nathan, Magen Mabe, Trevor, Austin, Sarah, Gabriella and Ryan; sisters, Maxine Foster and Ann Dougherty; brothers, Charles Gaby and wife Nadine, Tom Gaby and wife Wilma; numerous great and great great grandkids.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his father and mother; step-mother, Wanda Gaby; Brother, Don Gaby; son, David Gaby; half-brother, Jimmy Gunner.
