Funeral service for Elouise Pruitt, age 83, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 1:00P.M. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Nash officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00P.M. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Pruitt passed away on May 11, 2021 at her residence.
Elouise was born on October 22, 1937 in Ladonia, TX to O’neal and Theo Brown. She married Cleotis Pruitt in 1962 in Fannin County. Elouise was a cook and was very good at it. She was a woman of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by children, Glenda Spivey and husband, Sherby, Tasha Pruitt, Rickey Pruitt and wife, Dolores, Guy Pruitt and wife, Karicka, Melvin Pruitt and wife, Karla; sister, Debra Brown; brother, O.T. Brown; twenty grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Elouise was preceded in death by her parents Theo Shelton Brown and O’neal Brown; husband, Cleotis; one brother Lloyd D Shelton and one sister, Bonnie Mckinney.
