5th Annual “Salute the Veterans” BBQ Cook-off/All-You-Can-Eat BBQ Coming Up on Saturday

The annual event is a fundraiser for the local Veteran’s support group. OVET provides meals through a food pantry, monthly support meetings for Veterans, financial assistance for Veterans, and other services. 

Teams from across North Texas will cook and compete for trophies and prizes in multiple categories.

The public is not only welcomed but encouraged to join in a family friendly fun filled day of honoring Veterans. With scavenger hunts, vendors, cakewalks, hot dog eating competition, and more; there’s something for the entire family to enjoy.

The public can purchase All You Can Eat (while quantities last) tickets for Saturday and sample, arguably, some of the best BBQ around. The event starts at 8am and All-You-Can-Eat BBQ begins at 1pm.
