Winnsboro Man Found Unconscious in Sulphur Springs Taco Bell Drive-Thru Arrested by SSPD

A 46 year old Winnsboro man was arrested early Monday morning after Sulphur Springs Police Department responded to a report of an unconscious person in the Taco Bell drive-thru.

 Upon arrival, SSPD made contact with Steven Craig Krietemeyer and observed slurred speak, unsteady walking, unsteady while standing and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person.

Krietemeyer was placed into custody and transported to the Hopkins County Jail without incident.

Jail staff conducted a search and located a small plastic container containing a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine in Kietemeyer’s possession. 

Krietemeyer was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
