SSHS Students Take 1st and 2nd Place in Automotive Service Technology Competition

SSHS students Jessica Snyder and Jackson Burnett received awards from Gulf States Toyota for competing in the SkillsUSA Texas District 5 competition.

The students competed in Automotive Service Technology, placing 1st and 2nd. The competition includes comprehensive testing of 8 ASE testing areas. The students competed in the SkillsUSA Tx State level competition on April 20 with awards taking place on Friday, April 30.
