Storm chances will continue today ahead of a strong cold front that will move through. Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage through the morning hours and continue until a cold front moves through during the afternoon. A strong or severe storm with hail is possible across much of the area during the day, but the threat for large hail will remain isolated. Breezy northwest winds and cooler air will move in behind the front and bring and end to the rain/storms. Tonight’s lows will mainly be in the 40s.
