50 Year Old Man In ICU After Being Struck by Vehicle on Mockingbird Lane Wednesday Night

A 50 year old man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Sulphur Springs on Wednesday night.

At approximately 8:33 pm a vehicle travelling northbound in the 1300 block of Mockingbird Lane struck a pedestrian that was walking eastbound, according to Sulphur Springs Police Department Chief Jason Ricketson.

The victim has been identified as 50 year old Danny Keller.

He was careflighted to a Tyler hospital and is currently receiving care in the ICU.

The incident remains under investigation by SSPD.
