Funeral service for Dolores Rhodes, age 82, of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 2:00P.M. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at the City Cemetery in Sulphur Springs with John Sellers, Tim Glenn, Don Sapaugh, Ricky Reynolds, Tony Cook and Lee Teetes serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Rhodes passed away on April 3, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances- Sulphur Springs.

Dolores was born on September 17, 1938 in Texas to Aubrey James and Maurine (Moore) Hale. She married her husband L.D. Rhodes, who preceded her in death. Dolores worked for City National Bank. She was valedictorian of her class. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Rhodes and Mark Rhodes; grandchildren Jeremy Weaver and Jordan Rhodes; great-great grandchildren, Emma Weaver, Ethan Weaver and Tanner Rhodes.

Dolores was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
