A private Memorial service for Charlene Wilson, age 79, of Scroggins, TX will be held at a later date.

Charlene passed awa on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Winnsboro, TX.

Shee was born the daughter of Clifford and Bennie Mae Gist Nelson in Amarillo, TX on June 29, 1941.  She married William Wilson on June 7, 1958.  He preceded her in death in 2020.

She worked as a bookkeeper in the accounting department for Hills Propane Company in California before retiring.
Survivors include: sons: Mark and Bob Wilson both of Scroggins; daughters: Wilma Crumpley of Weaver and Tammy Witherington of Scroggins; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren;3 great, great grandchildren; sister: Jessie Craig of Idaho Falls, ID.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Clifford and Bennie Mae Nelson; husband: William Wilson’ sisters: Margie Cox, Dorothy Rawlins and Daphne Ward; brother: Billy Nelson.
