19 Year Old Sulphur Springs Man Arrested After Breaking Into Home and Stealing Truck

A 19 year old Sulphur Springs man was arrested on Monday after he broke into a home and stole a vehicle, according to arrest reports.

Braden Lynn Brown reportedly climbed through the window of a residence and stole the keys to a truck. It appeared the homeowner’s dog attacked Brown during the theft and he exited through a window at the back of the residence.

Officers then received a wellness concern regarding Brown and Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office deputies began searching for him.

Brown was located after HCSO received information about where he was last seen.

Brown was taken into custody and charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. Charges for Burglary of a Habitation will also be filed.
