Showers and thunderstorms will develop along and ahead of a cold front this afternoon and tonight. Some storms may become strong to severe with damaging wind and hail. A brief tornado or two is also not out of the question. The highest potential for severe storms will be across North Texas. Locations west of I-35 will have the best chance for storms between 5 PM and 10 PM while locations east of I-35 will have the highest chances between 8 PM and 1 AM.
