It’ll be a cool and dreary day today with mostly cloudy skies forecast for much of the area. Highs will remain in the 40s and 50s with a risk for rain showers and embedded thunderstorms. Severe weather is NOT expected, but some of the strongest storms may produce small hail. Minor flooding will be possible across parts of East and Central Texas. Brisk north winds are also forecast with speeds between 15 and 20 MPH. Gusts of up to 30 MPH are possibe.
