Mesquite Watercolor Artist Paints Hopkins County Courthouse As Part of Goal to Paint All Texas County Courthouses

Mesquite artist Tony Delane Morris recently did a watercolor painting of the Hopkins County Courthouse as a part of his goal to paint all 254 Texas county courthouses.

Morris started painting the Texas courthouses in December 2020. Some he visits in person and paints them on the spot. Here references others through a photo.

Morris hopes to eventually have them published into a book. He decided to paint them in his own fun and light hearted style because he loves to evoke the happy memories that many people have with their county’s courthouse.
