To receive this grading, AVFD added a 2000 model Quint Ladder truck to their fleet.  It’s proven necessary by the ISO with multiple three-story residence and construction buildings over 10,000 square-foot in their district. The purchase of this apparatus helped get the ISO rating to 3.
The new ISO rating goes into effect May 1, 2021.
The Arbala Volunteer Fire Department is still looking for a property in Reilly Springs to put in a sub-station. Reilly Springs community has a rating of a 10. If they move an engine into Reilly Springs, those residents automatically be given an ISO score of a 3 as well.
