The mountain lion walked into the hunter’s path around 4:30 pm on Saturday. He contacted the Hunt County Game Warden shortly after to make a report.
Officials were unable to confirm that this was the same mountain lion spotted near Rowlett and Princeton recently.
The hunter, from Blue Ridge, is reportedly taking the mountain lion to a taxidermist to be mounted.
