Betty Lou Moore was born on August 1, 1951 to parents Clifford Pipes and Louise Brown Pipes. She passed into eternal rest on November 27, 2020 at the age of 69. Betty retired from TXU in October 2014. Betty was a generous and kind woman. She was always ready to lend a hand to those in need. Betty was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and sister and one of her absolute greatest joys was being a grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family tremendously and was always there for them. Betty’s hobbies included shopping, crafting, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She was well loved and will be truly missed. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Clifford Pipes and Louise Brown Pipes and special friend; Howard Strickland. She is survived by husband; Ben Moore, sister; Carolyn Walsh and husband Tom, daughters; Amber Cope and husband Shane, Cameron Horse and husband Phillip, son; Jesse Moore and girlfriend Virginia Cavanaugh, grandchildren; Ashlee Cope, Cheyenne Boyd and husband Brad, Taylor Loden and husband David, Anna Jones and husband Zach, Shelby Cope, Kenedy Moore, Daven Cavanaugh, Julia Moore, Ella Horse, Phillp Horse Jr., Britin Horse, Jordyn Horse, great grandchildren; Skylan Lewis, Jaxon Merchant, Paislee Merchant, Tripp Boyd, Noah Boyd, Brixton Loden, Rilynn Jones, Kason Jones, Olivia Ballard, special friends; Dorothy, Jackie, Marilyn, Wendy, Janell and Wanda. Betty also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

Services will be conducted at 2 pm, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Miller Grove Methodist Church with Brother CJ Duffey officiating and Steve Knox assisting. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at West Oaks Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs. Serving as Pallbearers will be Mike Cross, Jess Hal Moore, Jesse Moore, Shane Cope, Phillip Horse, David Loden, Brad Boyd, and Zach Jones. Honorary Pallbearer will be Ray Alsdurf.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Miller Grove Methodist Church, Sulphur Springs Senior Center or St. Jude.
