An HCSO officer attempted to stop Jessica Ashley Mannino for a traffic violation shortly after 9 pm Monday night. Mannino refused to stop and attempted to evade the HCSO officer.

The pursuit went through Delta County and through the city of Paris. Lamar County Sheriff’s Office deputies were able to stop Mannino with the deployment of stop sticks. She wrecked out in the ditch on Highway 271 N with two flat tires.

She was placed under arrest. During the arrest, Mannino gave deputies an incorrect date of birth.

Mannino was arraigned in Lamar County and then transported to Hopkins County Jail. She is charged with Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle and Failure to Identify. Bail has been set at $21,000 for the two offenses.
