Clifford served in the U S Army for two years in Germany during the Vietnam Era and was proud of it. He had a career with Yellow Freight and retired as a Shop Supervisor.
Clifford married his sweetheart and lifelong friend Judith Bailey, in their union, three children were born, Gregory K. Hathaway, Martha Lee Hathaway and Vanetta D. Mund. He was a wonderful father and Paw Paw. Clifford was a faithful Meal A Day volunteer cook and delivery man. He also was a member of the Deputy District Commander for the Royal Rangers for many years, Clifford never met a stranger because he was God fearing and a servant.
To cherish his legacy, he leaves his wife of 57 years, Judith Hathaway: one son, Gregory Hathaway and wife Magen Hathaway one daughter, Vanetta D. Mund and husband Michael Mund, grandchildren, Johnny M. Wiliams III (Trey), Katelyn N. Hathaway, Shelby D. Frazier, and Nicholas (Nick) K. Hathaway, Christian K. Hathaway, Cassie Mund-Burns, Kaleb Mund and Madison Johnson, great grandchildren’s, Johnny M. Williams IV (JW), Waylon R. Frazier, Molly E. Williams and Lillian G. Frazier.
Clifford is now reunited with his loved ones who preceded his death: his loving daughter, Martha Lee Hathaway, his mother, Grace A. Hathaway, sisters, Margie Dunovan and Pauline Blackmon.

A visitation for Clifford will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Community Bible Fellowship, 5466 FM 69 N, Dike, TX 75437. A funeral service will occur Friday, November 20, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Community Bible Fellowship Church, 5466 FM 69 N, Dike, TX 75437. A committal service will occur Friday, November 20, 2020 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6300 South R.L., Thornton Freeway, and Dallas, TX 75232.
