Sulphur Bluff Graduate Kaleb Brown Wins First College Tournament. Named Conference Golfer of the Week.

GLADEWATER, Texas – Howard Payne University’s Kaleb Brown claimed his first collegiate golf individual collegiate tournament victory this week at the East Texas Baptist Fall Classic held at the Tempest Golf Club. Brown is a graduate of Sulphur Bluff High School.

Howard Payne’s Brown shot a two round 147 (74-73) for a one stroke win at the Tempest Golf Club this week. Brown led the tournament in Par 4 scoring (+3) Par 5 scoring (-2), and Birdies with eight.

This tournament finishes out the fall season for the Jackets. The 2021 spring schedule will be released in the weeks to come.

Brown was also named American Southwest Conference Co-Golfer of the week.
